Post subject:  Pittsburgh Pirates vs Chicago Cubs - 7/1/19 MLB!!

The Chicago Cubs and Pittsburgh Pirates meet Saturday in MLB(mlb world series championship rings) action at PNC Park.

The Chicago Cubs(Chicago Cubs championship rings for sale) could use a win after splitting their last eight games. The Cubs have scored 15 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in eight of their last 12 games. The Chicago Cubs have won six of their last eight games when scoring four or more runs. Javier Baez leads the Cubs with 93 hits and 56 RBI while Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo have combined for 164 hits and 97 RBI. Adbert Alzolay gets the ball, and he is 1-0 with a 2.08 ERA and nine strikeouts this season. This will be Alzolay’s first career game against the Pirates.

The Pittsburgh Pirates(cheap Pittsburgh Pirates championship rings) look for a win after splitting their last six games. The Pirates have scored five runs in their last thee games and three or less runs in five of their last 10 games. The Pittsburgh Pirates have lost four of their last six games when scoring three or less runs. Josh Bell leads the Pirates with 94 hits and 70 RBI while Starling Marte and Bryan Reynolds have combined for 154 hits and 67 RBI. Trevor Williams gets the ball, and he is 2-2 with a 4.25 ERA and 53 strikeouts this season. Williams is 2-4 with a 3.68 ERA and 26 strikeouts in his career against the Cubs.

The Cubs are 3-9 in their last 12 road games vs. a right-handed starter and 3-10 in their last 13 road games. The Pirates are 4-11 in their last 15 during game 1 of a series, 1-6 in their last 7 Monday games and 5-1 in Williams' last 6 home starts. The Cubs are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings and the Pirates are 1-5 in Williams' last 6 starts vs. Cubs. The under is 42-16-1 in Williams' last 59 starts overall. The under is 6-2 in Cubs last 8 overall.

Alzolay has just 8.2 career innings under his belt, but he's been rather impressive in those two starts, and that includes a game against a dangerous Braves lineup. Williams has allowed 17 hits and 11 runs in his last 11.2 innings, and he has a 6.00 ERA with a .283 allowed batting average at home. This will be Alzolay's first time pitching on the road and the Cubs haven't been the best road team as of late, but I'm not thrilled about backing Williams against a Cubs offense that usually shows up more times than not. I'll take the Cubs(championship rings for sale) and the cheap price.
