Here is one sample of ErraticAssassin's postings on the bulletin board regarding the "Bobcat Build '04"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why don't we put this slave labor to good use? 700 volunteers could make short work of some much-needed improvements on campus.
1. Bobcat Stadium could use a facelift: a. Paint the stadium and that crappy little field house b. Move the sound system from that crappy little field house to the 50- yard line so that people can actually hear it. 2. Paint the water tower 3. Fix our athletic website (web-geeks needed) _________________

What's wrong with that Billy Bob? We're putting a bunch of students to work without paying them for their effort. Why stop short? If Bobcat Build is going to have them wash buses on campus for free, why not put them to work on other projects around campus?

3. Our defense returns 10 of 11 starters

5. Two Division II teams on our schedule
...we're out of excuses.

Remember EA, you must be talking to one of the "good ol' boys", he might not understand that spruceing up the school would go a long way toward increasing school pride.
BTW, I voted for a padded room...I think you might have a good time bouncing off the walls for a while. Kinda like a mosh-pit. We'll play some speed metal.

I'd rather have a velcro room.

ErraticAssassin will be in a straightjacket in his private room.

Hey EA,
Just a simple question. How much money, if any, do you give to your athletic department?
I mean are you a significant donor, even a donor or just a cat calling from the cheap seats? It would be interesting to know given your obvious opinion on eveything with the program and what type of influence, if any, you have with the coaches, athletic department, etc.
A person with so many wild ass assumptions and opinions from Houston must think that they're something of influence but I for one would like to know the truth about that.

I have no influence with the coaches or administration.
I have opinions, but unlike the Billy Bobs of the world, I don't actually tell people how to do their jobs. That would be stupid. I know for a fact that we do have alumni that hang out in the AD's office and coach's office because they have admitted to such on this very board.
You cannot deny that our coach and AD were handpicked by the alumni/ boosters. Those decisions should have been made by football people, not Joe Six-Pack Alumnus. We have too many alumni who "played a little ball in their day" and they think that qualifies them to make the decisions around here. That's worked brilliantly all these years hasn't it?
Imagine trying to walk into Charley Casserly's office (GM of the Houston Texans) to tell him how to do his job. You wouldn't even get past the gate. He's an expert. He wouldn't take advice from Joe Six-Pack if his life depended on it.
But that's not the way that things work around here. Anyone with a checkbook gets access to the AD. The inmates are running the asylum.
